Instagram Expands Access to Creator Marketplace
Instagram is broadening the reach of its Creator Marketplace to ten more regions, including several EU countries. The Creator Marketplace is a platform where brands can find creators to help amplify their messages to the right audiences within the app.
The Marketplace allows brands to search for creators based on various factors like audience size, location, and common topics. It was previously available in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Japan, Australia, New Zealand, India, and Brazil.
The new markets that can now access Instagram's Creator database include:
- South Korea
- Germany
- Netherlands
- France
- Spain
- Israel
- Turkey
- Mexico
- Argentina
- Indonesia
Moreover, Instagram has added the ability for Chinese export brands to collaborate with creators outside of China, offering another way to utilize the Creator Marketplace for business.
These expansions aim to provide more brands and creators with opportunities to connect and collaborate on affiliate and creative marketing programs. This could lead to more resonant and responsive campaigns within the app, especially considering the success of influencer marketing in areas like Reels.
To appear in the Creator Marketplace listings, creators must be over 18 and comply with Instagram's branded content and monetization policies. Brands can access the Creator Marketplace via the Ads Manager.
