This feature will automatically translate English voiceovers into the user's preferred language, starting on May 20, 2025. Currently, the functionality is limited to English voiceovers, with Spanish as the only supported target language.
Meta has been slow to expand its AI-driven translations beyond English and a few major languages, suggesting that this feature may not have an immediate global impact. Nonetheless, it represents a significant step in Meta's efforts to innovate in ad personalization through AI. Users can manage their participation in these tests via the Advantage+ creative section in the Advertising settings page.
