Meta has changed how call-to-action (CTA) buttons appear on existing posts used in ads. Previously, adding a CTA button to an existing post in Ads Manager would update the original post itself, making the CTA visible on both the ad and the Page. Now, when you add a CTA to an existing post for an ad, the button appears only in the ad and not on the original post.
Key Changes and Benefits
- CTA buttons no longer update the original post on the Page.
- Advertisers gain more flexibility by being able to:
- Customize CTA buttons to match specific campaign objectives.
- Align CTA messaging with different stages of the marketing funnel.
- Test multiple CTA variations without changing the organic post content.
