Starting August 2025, vehicle ads will be available to all vehicle advertisers in France and the Netherlands, with plans to expand to more countries later. These ads are a performance-focused, omnichannel, lower-funnel format designed to help auto advertisers promote their full inventory on Google. When shoppers click a vehicle ad, they are directed to the Vehicle Description Page (VDP) on the advertiser's website, which displays key details like car image, make, model, price, kilometers, and advertiser name. The VDP enables shoppers to contact the dealer, submit lead forms, or take other actions before visiting the dealership.
Vehicle ads do not support vehicle parts, accessories, tires, or services. Advertisers in France and the Netherlands can participate by uploading vehicle feeds in the Merchant Center and running Performance Max campaigns in Google Ads to serve vehicle ads.
