Google has quietly introduced a new feature in Performance Max (Pmax) campaigns called Social Video Upload (Beta), allowing advertisers to upload social videos directly into their Pmax video assets. This update positions Google as a competitor to Meta, TikTok, and other social ad platforms by streamlining video ad management.
Key Changes for PPCers:
- Advertisers can now upload up to 5 social videos directly into their Pmax campaigns.
- There is no longer a need to upload social videos to YouTube first before linking them in Pmax.
