Advertisers using Google Ads must accept new Local Service Ads (LSA) terms by June 5, 2025. Key updates include provisions that allow Google to modify and display content from advertisers' profiles across its services. This includes business details such as photos, names, locations, and service descriptions.
Additionally, Google can now record calls and messages from users routed through the platform, and utilize rich content from these interactions and any URLs shared in the LSA account. The terms also clarify that agencies acting on behalf of advertisers are subject to the same conditions.
Failure to accept the new terms by the deadline will result in ineligibility for ad serving. Advertisers managing multiple accounts can bulk accept the terms through the MCC dashboard. Accepting the new terms will not impact existing bids, budgets, or campaign settings. For further inquiries, advertisers can contact their account team or the support center.
