Earlier this month, the GA4 Meta integration was spotted by a few users with no confirmation from Meta. However, Daniel from Meta has now shared more details, revealing that they have been testing the Google Analytics integration since 2023 and are now rolling out this functionality to a limited number of selected accounts.
Where to Find the Integration
Navigate to Event Manager > Partner Integrations > Google Analytics, and follow the on-screen instructions.
How Does It Work?
Meta uses aggregated campaign-level data from Google Analytics to enhance each advertiser's campaign optimization and delivery. This data, combined with information from the Meta Pixel and the Conversions API, helps to optimize the performance of your campaigns.
What Results Can Advertisers Expect from the Google Analytics Meta Integration?
Advertisers who connected their Google Analytics account with Meta saw an average 22% increase in attributed conversions on Meta. Performance changes can be expected in less than two weeks after integration.
Meta plans to incorporate more web analytics and app data sources in the future. Currently, the integration is available only for selected limited accounts.
