Meta is introducing a new ad placement called Instagram Profile Reels, found under the Stories and Reels section during manual editing of placements. This placement is available for most website and app conversion locations.
Ad Details:
- Ads may appear between Reels when users scroll through an Instagram profile's Reels feed.
- Ads must be videos with a 9:16 aspect ratio to blend in with other Reels.
- The appearance of the ad can be previewed in the Advanced Preview section.
Advantage+ Placements:
- Formerly known as Automatic Placements.
- Meta optimizes placements to maximize results within the budget.
- Instagram Profile Reels may need to be manually selected as it might not be automatically included in Advantage+ Placements.
The addition of Instagram Profile Reels is expected to help keep advertising costs down by providing more placement options.
