Google Ads API v16 to Sunset on February 5 2025 Users Must Migrate to Newer Version

Google Ads API v16 will sunset on February 5, 2025, after which all v16 API requests will fail. To maintain uninterrupted API access, users must migrate to a newer version before this date.

To view recent API requests, access the Google Cloud Console:

1. Open APIs & Services.
2. Select Google Ads API.
3. Check the METRICS subtab for request graphs and the Methods table for details on methods used, which will include the API version, service, and method name (e.g., google.ads.googleads.v18.services.GoogleAdsService.Mutate).
4. Optionally, adjust the timeframe for viewing requests.
