The Luratic Template for Microsoft Clarity, a favored tool in the Clarity community, has received an update. Unlike the regular GTM template, which lacks consent handling, the updated Luratic template now integrates Consent Mode, enhancing its utility. Additionally, the update introduces the "Josh Silverbauer–Trademarked Tooltip," which informs users about the "friendly name" feature in Microsoft Clarity. This feature allows sending a custom friendly name (like a company name or hashed email) to appear under a user profile, but it replaces the user_id, meaning both cannot be displayed simultaneously. The tooltip serves as a warning about this limitation. The full updated template is detailed in an article on Best Community, and users with the template installed are encouraged to update to access these new features.
