HD Photos, Shared Albums and More on Messenger

To send HD photos in Messenger:

1. Select an image from your chat composer.
2. Turn the HD toggle on.
3. Tap Send. To send multiple HD photos, tap on additional photos and then tap Send.

To create a shared album in Messenger:

1. Select multiple photos from your chat composer.
2. Tap Create album (or long press a photo in the chat and tap Create album).
3. To add to an existing album, tap Add to album.
4. To rename the album, tap Album, then the three-dot menu, select Edit Name, and confirm the new album name. Everyone in the chat can view, add, delete, and download pictures and videos from the album. To find the album, tap on your group chat name and then tap Media.

To add new connections on Messenger using a QR code:

1. Go to your Settings.
2. Tap the QR code icon at the top.
3. Have the other person scan your code using their device’s camera, or share a link to your code by tapping Share.

To send files up to 100MB from your phone in Messenger:

1. In a Messenger chat, tap the + button.
2. Select a file up to 100MB to send. All major file formats are supported, including Word, PDF, Excel, and zip.
