Google has reminded advertisers that ad customizers for text ads, expanded text ads, and Dynamic Search Ads will stop after May 31, 2024. This follows its 2021 announcement to drop support for expanded text ads for responsive search ads. Post the change, only default text will serve in these ad types. This is part of Google's move towards responsive search ads as the only ad type in standard search campaigns.
