Requirements for Using GA Data in Dynamic Remarketing
- Ecommerce event tracking in GA must be enabled and working correctly.
- GA and Google Ads accounts need to be linked, with Personalized Advertising activated.
- Product IDs in GA must correspond exactly to those in the product feed.
Considerations
Using Google Analytics data for dynamic remarketing offers convenience and may be simpler to implement than configuring dynamic events via Google Ads tags. However, data collected directly through Google Ads tags tends to be processed faster and covers a wider range of data. Therefore, for optimal performance, it is recommended to implement dynamic remarketing events directly with the Google Ads remarketing tag whenever possible.
