In April, Message assets also known as WhatsApp extensions were first spotted live. Google has released an official help page article about this new ad asset. This feature allows customers to initiate a conversation with the advertiser directly from an ad using WhatsApp.
Currently, these extensions are available only in Brazil and India. They can be utilized in Search campaigns or Performance Max.
Arpan Banerjee first noticed the feature live in April. It is hoped that it will soon be expanded to more countries.
