A new help page titled Discover feed source overview has been added by Google, detailing the source cards in the Google Discover feed and addressing instances when the source name is incorrect, particularly for entity Discover pages. The page explains that these cards provide an overview of the source, generated automatically from public sources like trusted websites. Despite Google's efforts for accuracy, errors can arise due to the potential inaccuracy of public sources.
Damien, known as the Discover king, highlighted this on X, mentioning that Google discusses profile pages. The page also outlines the process for reporting errors in an overview: users can tap the horizontal menu icon, select "Send feedback," and Google will review the issue. To report errors on one's own source overview, users should visit their overview and select "Legal help" in the footer.
