Google is implementing several changes to its Display & Video 360 platform, affecting audience targeting, inventory access, and campaign structuring.
1. Oracle Audience Discontinuation
- Third-party audiences from Oracle will be discontinued on September 30, 2024.
- Affected providers: Bluekai, AddThis, and Datalogix.
- Line items targeting only these audiences will be paused automatically.
- First-party CRM audiences onboarded via BlueKai's DMP will no longer be available.
2. Direct Exchange Integrations
Display & Video 360 is moving from Bidswitch to direct integrations for these exchanges:
- Kargo
- Media.net
- Sharethrough
- Nexxen (formerly Unruly)
- Yieldmo
Entities currently using Bidswitch will be migrated to these direct integrations automatically.
3. Insertion Order Objectives Feature
A new feature for insertion order creation is being added:
- Objective selection will set default KPIs, line item types, and bid strategies.
- Designed to align campaign components with overall goals.
- Allows for AI-powered optimizations based on selected objectives.
- Existing insertion orders will be labeled as "insertion order without objective."
- Users can select "No objective" to access all options.
These updates aim to refine targeting options, improve inventory access, and simplify campaign management in Display & Video 360.
