Google Analytics 4 (GA4) uses the dma_cps=sypham parameter to send data through the Google tag for advertising purposes. The acronym sypham represents various services:
- s for Search
- y for Youtube
- p for Play
- h for Shopping
- a for Ad services
- m for Maps
By default, data is shared with all these services. However, users can modify the settings to limit the services they share information with. The value sent to Google changes based on the services unchecked. For instance, unchecking Maps and Play changes the value from sypham to syha.
