Amazon has launched a new feature allowing self-service advertisers to set up and launch rewarded ads within the Amazon DSP. This feature enables advertisers to reward customers with Amazon credits for engaging with their ads. The process is streamlined through a component-based creative template, where advertisers can select "Products on Amazon" as the landing page and "Rewarded ads" as the ad experience. Advertisers can configure the ASINs they want to promote, set the spending amount required for a reward, and create a reward landing page. The ad creatives and landing page are automatically generated and available for preview.
Importance
Rewarded ads increase engagement by providing customers with incentives to interact with the brand. This feature allows advertisers to add value to their DSP display media, moving customers from discovery to action quickly. The creation of rewarded ads is as fast as building standard display creatives.
Availability
- Region: North America (United States)
- Users: Self-service advertisers in the US selling products on Amazon.com (excluding digital, grocery, apparel, shoes, Fresh, Whole Foods, or other Amazon Local Merchants ASINs).
Access
The rewarded ads feature is accessible via the Amazon DSP within the component-based creative template. Advertisers will incur costs for distributed rewards and have access to new metrics such as reward grants and reward cost, available in the ADSP Campaign Builder dashboards. These metrics are not available via Public API, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Amazon Marketing Stream, or the ADSP Measurement & Reporting tab.
