Amazon Ads has introduced Business Bid Adjustment functionality in the Sponsored Products v3 API, now available across multiple marketplaces including US, CA, MX, DE, UK, FR, IT, ES, IN, and JP.
The feature allows advertisers to increase bids by up to 900% for Amazon Business placements. This adjustment works alongside existing placement bid settings for Top-of-Search, Rest-of-Search, and Product pages, and can be applied to both new and existing campaigns.
Starting September 5, 2024, advertisers can access Amazon Business performance metrics through the reporting system. The data covers campaign performance specifically on Amazon Business, regardless of whether they use the Business Bid Adjustment feature.
The update introduces new API endpoints and reporting capabilities. Advertisers can use the SITE_AMAZON_BUSINESS enum value for campaign configuration and the campaignSite filter with AmazonBusiness value for reporting. Full documentation is available in the Sponsored Products API specifications.
