Google Ads is introducing AI features within the advertiser console, including AI summaries for ad performance. These summaries provide an overview of the Google Ads campaign performance over a specific period.
Advertiser Anthony Higman shared a video of an AI summary from one of his ad accounts. The summary provided a performance review from May 9 - May 15 compared to May 2 - May 8. It reported a decrease in the total number of clicks across 46 campaigns by 25. It further detailed that out of the 46 campaigns, 6 had a decrease in clicks, 4 had an increase, and 36 remained unchanged. Three top contributing campaigns drove 101 of the clicks decrease. The potential reasons for this change were changes in bid for 3 campaigns and keyword targeting for 1 campaign.
