What’s New?
- Google now shows the source of AI Max traffic:
- Landing pages and URL inclusions
- AI Max expanded matches
- Currently, only these two sources are identified.
How to Use This Data
- Landing pages & URL inclusions: Verify if the search terms align with your page content. If not, your URL coverage may be too broad, or your on-page content might need better keywords to help Google understand your offerings.
- AI Max expanded matches: These are algorithmic matches. Monitor their ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) compared to traditional keyword match types and evaluate their performance over time.
