Lauren, a program manager at YouTube and producer of Creator Insider, shares updates in this week's "newsuesday." Creators will soon be able to use Studio Editor for videos with automatic dubbing enabled, with autodub tracks automatically recreated after edits. Editing videos with manually uploaded multilingual audio tracks is not yet available but expected later this year.
Increased Image Uploads
Creators can now upload up to 10 images per post on their channel, an increase from the previous limit of five. This feature is rolling out across iOS, Android, tablets, desktop, and Studio.
YouTube Promote Enhancements
YouTube Promote now allows creators to specify more granular call-to-action goals for website visit campaigns, such as book now, get quote, contact us, etc. This feature is currently available only on desktop. Creators can use YouTube Promote campaigns to advertise shorts, videos, or grow their business directly from YouTube or YouTube Studio without needing Google Ads. Promotion goals include gaining more subscribers, increasing video views, or driving website visits.
The update concludes with a note from the YouTube creators team, looking forward to the next week's news.
