Threads has rolled out a native post scheduling feature for all users, following an initial test. Users can now select a date and time for their posts directly within the app's post composer by tapping the three-dot menu and choosing "Schedule." Scheduled posts will appear in the drafts folder for easy editing or deletion.
While scheduling has been available through Threads' API for third-party apps since last March, the new native feature simplifies the process for users. Future plans include integrating Threads into Meta's Business Suite, allowing social media managers to manage content across Facebook, Instagram, and Threads from one platform.
Threads is rapidly evolving and implementing frequent updates to enhance functionality. The scheduling feature is expected to increase posting activity from publishers and brands, potentially expanding conversations on the platform.
