Threads now features Dear Algo, an AI-powered tool that lets users customize their feed based on what matters to them at the moment. By typing "Dear Algo" followed by a request in a public Threads post—such as asking for more posts about podcasts—users can influence the content they see. This adjustment lasts for three days, allowing users to stay connected to relevant and current conversations. Additionally, users can repost others' Dear Algo requests to adopt their content preferences. Currently available in the US, New Zealand, Australia, and the UK, Dear Algo aims to make Threads more personal by helping users follow trending topics or niche interests.
