Amazon Ads has expanded its AI image generation (beta) to Sponsored Display advertisers in the US, CA, MX, and EU5. Previously, this feature was only available for Sponsored Brands campaigns. Advertisers can now use AI-generated images for Sponsored Display campaigns at no extra cost.
The image generation is designed to eliminate creative barriers and enable brands to create lifestyle imagery that can enhance their ads' performance. It can be used to improve reach and engagement across Amazon and thousands of apps and websites. On average, US advertisers using Sponsored Display branded creative see a 13.6% higher return on ad spend (ROAS), 31.7% higher conversion rate, and 8.4% more new-to-brand sales compared to those using non-custom creative.
After the image is generated, advertisers can provide feedback or save it to their creative asset library. The feature is available in North America (United States, Canada, Mexico) and Europe (United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain). It can be accessed through the advertising console by registered sellers and vendors.
In other updates, users can now set up a customized account structure, link other Manager accounts to their Manager account, retrieve an Excel summary of all Sponsored Ads invoices from the last 90 days, and access bid recommendations for their video creatives in Sponsored Display.
