Today, the general availability of Structured Data Files (SDF) v7.1 and the open beta of the new QA format has been announced for all Display & Video 360 users.
SDF v7.1 Updates
- Usage: Users can now upload and download SDFs in the Display & Video 360 UI and download SDFs through the Display & Video 360 API.
- Changes from v7 to v7.1:
- Added new TrueView Video Ad settings to the Line Item resource.
- Renamed three insertion order columns to use "Kpi" instead of "Performance Goal."
- Introduced a new objective column to the insertion order resource, currently in beta and available only to participating clients.
- Documentation: Full details are available in the Structured Data Files release notes. Users of SDF v5.5 or v6 should follow the v7 migration guide before migrating to v7.1.
SDF QA Format
- Purpose: Provides human-readable data to make it easier to review Display & Video 360 resource settings in bulk.
- File Types: Available through two new file types:
- Line Item - QA
- YouTube Ad Group - QA
- Content: These files provide the same information as standard format files of the same version but use display name values instead of numeric IDs.
- Limitations: QA files are read-only and cannot be uploaded to modify or create Display & Video 360 resources. Currently, they are only available through the Display & Video 360 interface.
- Feedback: Users can submit feedback via the Send Feedback button on the relevant reference documentation page. Suggested updates will be considered before the QA format is released to general availability.
For issues or help with the new format or version, users can refer to the support guide or contact the team using the contact form.
