Introducing Enhanced Gen AI Features and Other Tools to Help Build Your Business

Meta is launching enhanced generative AI features for advertisers, including full image and text generation. The aim is to improve ad performance, automate parts of the ad creation process, and increase credibility and engagement through Meta Verified.

Generative AI: Image Generation

Advertisers can now create full image variations inspired by their original ad creative with text overlay capabilities. This feature is already rolling out, and in the coming months, advertisers will also be able to provide text prompts to help tailor the creative variations. Image expansion, a feature that allows creative assets to fit different aspect ratios across multiple surfaces, is now available on Reels and Feed across both Instagram and Facebook.

Generative AI: Text Generation

The text generation feature creates variations for the ad headline, in addition to the primary text. Meta is currently testing the ability for the generated text to reflect a brand’s voice and tone, by highlighting key selling points based on previous campaigns and text input. This feature will soon be built with Meta Llama 3, the next generation of large language models, which will enhance ad performance.

Centralizing Generative AI Features under Advantage+ Creative

The updated generative AI features will be available in Ads Manager through Advantage+ creative, supporting businesses along the entire ad campaign creation journey. This centralization allows faster ad creation and better performance.

Advantage+ Products Updates

Advantage+ creative optimizations: Optimizes video ads for viewing on Reels or the mobile Facebook and Instagram apps with 9:16 ratio when using visual touch-ups.

Advantage+ catalog ads: Delivers product recommendations to people based on their interests. Advertisers can now import and use creatives like branded videos or customer demonstration videos.

Meta Verified for Businesses

Meta Verified, a subscription toolkit to help businesses build more credibility with customers and achieve their goals on Meta's apps, is being expanded to more countries. It offers a core toolkit of a verified badge, account support, impersonation monitoring and more.
