Google Ads is simplifying enhanced conversions settings by merging enhanced conversions for web and leads into a single unified feature. Starting April 2026, Google Ads will accept user-provided data from website tags and API connections simultaneously, improving conversion data accuracy and campaign bidding optimization. By June 2026, these two enhanced conversion types will be combined into one feature with a simple on/off switch, removing the need to select different implementation methods like Google tag, Google Tag Manager, or Google Ads API. No action is required from users, and accounts will continue using enhanced conversions automatically, with the option to opt out at the conversion action level anytime.
