Circle to Search, now available on over 300 million Android devices, allows users to quickly access information by circling, highlighting, or tapping on their screens without switching apps. With AI Mode embedded, users can engage in advanced reasoning, ask follow-up questions, and dive deeper into complex topics directly within Circle to Search by long pressing the home button or navigation bar.
AI Mode is also accessible through Google Lens on both Android and iOS, providing deeper insights for multimodal queries in the U.S. and India.
For mobile gaming, Circle to Search offers real-time help such as identifying characters or finding winning strategies without leaving the game. Activation is the same—long press and circle or tap—to receive AI Overviews with relevant information and suggested videos in supported countries.
Additionally, AI Overviews have been improved using the latest Gemini models, making responses easier to read by breaking down key information and including more visuals for better context during visual searches.
