Amazon recently expanded its Subscribe and Save program to include Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM) products, previously limited to Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) items. This update offers several key benefits:
Brands can now switch to FBM when they run out of FBA inventory, ensuring uninterrupted service for Subscribe and Save customers while replenishing their FBA stock.
Certain products, like those susceptible to melting (e.g., chocolate), face storage restrictions in Amazon's warehouses during specific times of the year. With FBM, brands can fulfill these orders directly from their warehouses, keeping Subscribe and Save active year-round.
Special Storage Needs
Products requiring special storage conditions, such as refrigeration, were previously ineligible for Subscribe and Save if they couldn't be stored in Amazon’s facilities. Now, brands can manage these products in their own temperature-controlled environments and still offer the service.
This update allows brands to maintain consistent sales and customer satisfaction, driving long-term value (LTV) on Amazon.
