TikTok has launched the TikTok Change Makers Program, a global social impact creator elevation program that highlights creators and non-profits who create meaningful change in their communities through TikTok. The program will run for six months, during which TikTok will support these creators with dedicated tools, resources, and donations to designated non-profit organizations.
The program was launched with an inaugural global list of 50 TikTok Change Makers, including creators like Barbara Costello (@brunchwithbabs), Brian Brigantti (@redleafranch), Caulin Donaldson (@trashcaulin), Jason Linton (@dadlifejason), Eli Virkina (@elivirkina), Franziska Trautmann (@ecofran), JT Laybourne (@jt_laybourne), Kara Lewis (@karaxlewis), Alethea Crimmins (@ms_hdic), and Joel Bervell (@joelbervell). These creators are recognized for advocating, inspiring, and educating their communities to drive collective change on TikTok and beyond.
In addition to the program, TikTok is also introducing the TikTok Change Makers Grant. Through this grant, TikTok donates over $1 million to 30 global and local non-profit organizations supporting various vital causes. A $25,000 direct donation will be made in honour of every Change Maker to support their respective advocacies while elevating the impact of their work.
The program is part of TikTok's ongoing commitment to fostering a global community that is passionate about using #TikTokforGood. The platform aims to showcase its international community's diverse voices and strength as they educate, advocate and inspire their communities to drive meaningful, positive and lasting change.
