The new version of Search Console Insights has been integrated into the main Search Console interface, replacing the standalone beta experience. This update aims to provide a more cohesive experience for content creators, bloggers, and site owners, allowing them to understand their website's performance without needing extensive data expertise.
Unified Experience
The updated Insights report enhances integration with the Performance report, streamlining workflows and making it easier to identify opportunities for site performance improvement. Key features include:
- Total Clicks and Impressions: Users can quickly view their total clicks and impressions from Google Search and monitor trends compared to previous periods.
- Page Performance: Identify which pages attract the most clicks, along with "trending up" and "trending down" pages for further investigation.
- Search Queries: Discover top search queries leading users to the site, including trending queries that can inspire new content.
The "Achievements" feature continues, allowing users to track progress and celebrate milestones, such as reaching new thresholds for total clicks. Notifications will be sent for new milestones, with access to past achievements available through links in emails and the sidebar navigation.
Availability
The new Insights report will be rolled out gradually, and users are encouraged to check back if they do not see it immediately. Feedback is welcomed through LinkedIn or the Google Search Central Community.
