Google Analytics has updated its Benchmarking feature to include support for 20 additional unnormalized metrics—absolute numbers such as "New users" and "Total Revenue"—in addition to the previously supported normalized metrics like percentages and ratios. For these absolute numbers, Google Analytics estimates a performance range by factoring in your property's number of active users.
This is done by multiplying the peer group's normalized metric by your active user count, enabling comparisons that adjust for differences in traffic volume. This enhancement allows for deeper insights into your performance relative to industry peers and helps identify new growth opportunities. The updated benchmarking feature is accessible via the Overview card on the Google Analytics home page.
