Google Adsense has deprecated account-level control for non-personalised ads within Privacy & messaging. Specifically, the Ad choice control feature, which allowed users to select the type of ads shown, has been removed from the European message settings. Publishers are now encouraged to use the IAB TCF framework to collect and communicate user consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. For serving personalised ads to some users and non-personalised ads to others, AdSense asynchronous ad tags provide a method to trigger non-personalised ads on a per-page basis.
