Google Ads is facing a significant outage that began on August 1, 2024, at 15:27 UTC, affecting several components of its platform. Advertisers are unable to access essential tools and reports, including the Report Editor, Dashboards, Saved Reports, and pages for Products, Product Groups, and Listing Groups. This issue impacts the Google Ads web interface, API, and Google Ads Editor, indicating a system-wide problem.
The outage disrupts daily operations for Google Ads advertisers. Without access to key tools, marketers may struggle to analyze campaign performance, make data-driven decisions, or present client results. Ecommerce advertisers are particularly affected due to the inability to manage product feeds and shopping campaigns. The API outage also affects third-party tools and custom integrations, potentially causing a broader impact. Google Ads Liaison, Ginny Marvin acknowledged the issue on X (Twitter):
Advertisers are advised to Monitor the Google Ads Status Dashboard for updates. Use previously exported data for alternative reporting methods.
Google has not provided an estimated time for resolution but is actively investigating the issue.

We will reach out to all impacted customers directly with further details on this incident in the coming days and will be working towards issuing credits in the coming weeks.
