Amazon has expanded its content transparency reports on Streaming TV to include impression breakdowns by show titles for Prime Video and Freevee. Initially released in January 2024, these reports allowed advertisers to see genre and rating for their ad impressions. The new update provides more granular data, enabling advertisers to see exactly which shows their ads appeared in.
Configuration
Advertisers transitioning from linear TV to digital media like streaming TV (STV) expect similar reporting capabilities. These detailed reports help advertisers assess the contextual relevance of their ads and make informed decisions for future media investments and campaign adjustments. STV advertisers can also measure the efficacy of their campaigns, especially when they buy deals to run ads on specific shows or block certain shows.
