YouTube Shorts now allows creators to remix previously remixed Shorts using features like Sound, Cut, Collan, or Green Screen. This expands the ability to remix content beyond using just the original source video. Creators can take an already remixed Short and use a part of it to create their own, adding their unique perspective and potentially extending the content's reach and relevance.

Creators in the YouTube Partner Program with Channel Memberships can create Members-only Shorts by selecting 'Visibility' during the upload flow and choosing 'Members Only'. They also have the option to schedule the Short to transition from members-only to Public, providing early access to their members before the general public release.

YouTube introduced a tool in Creator Studio that requires creators to disclose the use of altered or synthetic media, including generative AI, to produce content that could be mistaken for real. The disclosure appears as a label in the video's expanded description or, for sensitive topics, prominently on the video itself. This is to increase transparency and inform viewers when content has been significantly enhanced by AI.

Creators can now fully control the 'For You' shelf on their channel page by adding, removing, and positioning it as they see fit. This is accessible through the Studio Mobile app, and creators can choose what content types to show, with the option to display only recently posted content from the last 12 months.

YouTube introduced several new shopping features, including Shopping Collections, where creators can curate products around themes; an Affiliate Hub in the app for connecting with partners and managing commissions; the ability to tag products across multiple videos; and the addition of Fourthwall to its integrated platforms, enhancing eCommerce capabilities on the platform.
