Meta is testing a new AI-generated ad feature called Comment Keywords, which automatically extracts positive or neutral keywords from ad comments to display beneath the ad. Examples of keywords include “Easy to assemble,” “Sturdy,” and “Great quality.” While this AI enhancement is appreciated, it comes with some risks, such as the potential for negative or unintended meanings to be highlighted.
Brands with strict control over ad copy may want to disable this feature. The test may be enabled by default, so it's advisable to check the Advertising Settings > Advantage+ Creative to see if you're participating and to turn it off if necessary. This feature is expected to be available primarily in English and a few other widely-used languages.
