Meta is introducing a new test for AI-based Advantage+ creative enhancements beginning on March 18, 2025. The test features a new capability called Video Highlights, designed to assist advertisers in emphasizing key selling points or features within video advertisements.
The new Video Highlights feature aims to automatically identify and emphasize the main selling points in video ads. While Meta has provided visual examples of this enhancement, the actual appearance of video ads using this feature remains somewhat ambiguous.
Advertisers can review and modify their participation settings for these AI enhancement experiments through the platform's Advertising settings > Advantage+ creative section.
The test is not expected to create significant negative visual impacts on advertisements, making it a relatively low-risk enhancement to enable across advertising accounts.
Meta continues to expand its AI-powered advertising tools as part of its ongoing efforts to improve advertising effectiveness on its platforms.
