Meta has introduced a new feature for Instagram CTAs that allows advertisers to showcase custom offers directly on their ads. This feature aims to highlight promotions and increase conversions by displaying details such as percentage discounts or cash discounts on the call-to-action (CTA) button.
Key Features
- Dynamic Offer Details: Offer details are dynamically sourced from the website provided in the ad source section. Advertisers can confirm, remove, or manually add offer details.
- Predictive Display: If multiple offers are available, Meta will predict and display the offer most likely to engage users.
- Single-Media Ads: Currently, the CTA button with offer details can only appear on single-media ads in Instagram Stories. You can add up to 20 offers.
The offer feature supports the following campaign objectives: Traffic, Engagement, Leads, and Sales.
Note: the feature isn't available to all ad accounts.
Steps to Showcase Offers in Ads
Create Ad in Ads Manager:
- Go to Ads Manager and click + Create.
- Select Traffic, Engagement, Leads, or Sales as the ad objective.
- If Sales is selected, toggle off 'Use a catalog' at the campaign level.
Complete Campaign Details:
- Fill in campaign details, A/B test, and Advantage campaign budget sections.
- In the conversion section, select 'Website' as the conversion location.
Ad Set Level:
- Complete budget & schedule, audience controls, and placements sections.
Ad Level:
- Select the Facebook Page and/or Instagram account in the Identity section.
- Enter a website URL in the Ad sources section to automatically add offers.
Ad Setup:
- Select 'Manual upload' as the creative source and choose 'Single image or video' as the format.
If offers are found from website URL: A message will inform you of the number of offers found. Review and confirm the offers.
If no offers are found from website URL: Manually add offer details by selecting the offer type and entering discount details.
