The European AI Office, starting from June 16, will be organized into five units and two advisors:

Organizational Structure

  • Excellence in AI and Robotics
  • Regulation and Compliance
  • AI Safety
  • AI Innovation and Policy Coordination
  • AI for Societal Good
  • Lead Scientific Advisor
  • Advisor for International Affairs

Staffing

The office will employ over 140 staff members, including:

  • Technology Specialists
  • Administrative Assistants
  • Lawyers
  • Policy Specialists
  • Economists

The AI Office will recruit individuals from diverse backgrounds.
