WhatsApp has introduced new chat themes and color options for customization, allowing users to personalize their chats with colorful chat bubbles and backgrounds. Users can select from pre-set chat themes that alter both the background and bubbles or mix and match colors to suit their preferences.
Additionally, WhatsApp offers 30 new wallpaper options for added fun, or users can upload their own images from their camera roll for a unique touch. Themes can be applied universally across all chats or customized for individual conversations, with the customization being visible only to the user.
To change the theme for all chats, users can navigate to Settings > Chats > Default chat theme. For individual chat customization, users can click the chat name on iOS or the 3-dot menu on Android to access the chat theme options. These features are currently rolling out and will be available globally in the coming weeks.
