Snapchat has introduced Snap School sponsorships, allowing brands to sponsor its creator education events. This initiative aims to enhance brand visibility and foster relationships with both aspiring and established Snap Stars. Since the inception of Snap Schools in 2022, over 50 workshops have been conducted globally, focusing on content creation, engagement strategies, and monetization.
In 2025, U.S. advertisers will have the opportunity to sponsor Snap School events, with 22 sponsorship slots available throughout the year. This offering is designed to connect brands with creators in person and expand brand reach through organic content on Snapchat. The first sponsored Snap Schools were held in July 2024 and February 2025 with Clinique, attracting over 75 creators and resulting in partnerships with various Snap Stars. The events included interactive elements like a Clinique-branded game show and augmented reality integrations.
Jim Shepherd, Director of Content & Global Creator Partnerships at Snap Inc., expressed enthusiasm for the sponsorships, highlighting their potential to engage brands and empower creators. Future updates and success stories regarding Snap School sponsorships are anticipated.
