AI Tools to Assist Customers
Meta is training AI to respond to common customer questions on WhatsApp, helping businesses quickly provide answers and assist in product discovery. Additionally, AI is being integrated to help businesses create ads on Facebook and Instagram, reminding customers about abandoned carts or offering discounts.
Meta Verified on WhatsApp
Meta Verified is being rolled out on the WhatsApp Business app in Brazil, India, Indonesia, and Colombia. The Meta Verified badge indicates that a business has registered its information with Meta, providing enhanced account support, impersonation protection, and the ability to use WhatsApp across multiple devices for employees. This badge will also appear on the business's WhatsApp Channel and custom WhatsApp page.
Calling for Larger Businesses
Meta is introducing a feature that allows users to call larger businesses on WhatsApp with a single tap. This feature is useful for complex inquiries, such as travel requests or opening new bank accounts. Currently in testing, it will be expanded to more businesses in the coming months.
