When creating an ad in Ads Manager, a new "Branding" option is available in the Identity section, allowing advertisers to incorporate brand details into AI-generated images and text. Previously, advertisers could add logos, fonts, and colors, but now they can also specify Text Tone and Visual Style.
Text Tone allows advertisers to define the tone and voice for AI-generated text. For example, one user’s text tone was set as “confident, straightforward and conversational… knowledgeable, helpful, and occasionally humorous.” This feature aims to enhance the usability of AI-generated text, which some users found inadequate.
Visual Style directs the background generation of ads. Meta uses existing ads to suggest a visual style, such as “informal, conversational, dark background, orange accents, casual attire, beer theme, pubcast logo.”
These enhancements enable advertisers to tailor AI-generated content more closely to their brand, potentially increasing confidence in using these tools.
