WhatsApp has enhanced its Status feature by introducing a full music library that allows users to add music to their updates. When creating a Status, a music note icon appears, granting access to a vast library of songs, including top hits and new releases. Users can select specific parts of a song, with a limit of 15 seconds for photos and 60 seconds for videos. The Status updates remain end-to-end encrypted, ensuring privacy regarding shared content and song choices. This feature is being rolled out globally over the coming weeks.
