WhatsApp enhances chat security by introducing passkey-enabled encryption for chat backups, allowing users to secure their memories without needing to remember passwords or complex encryption keys. Users can now use their fingerprint, face, or screen lock code for end-to-end encryption, making backups safe, accessible, and private with a simple tap or glance. This feature will be rolled out gradually in the coming weeks and months. To enable it, users can navigate to WhatsApp settings, select Chats, then Chat backup, and choose End-to-end encrypted backup to access their options.
