Over the past few months, WhatsApp has introduced several new features aimed at enhancing the chatting and calling experience. Users can now share Live Photos (iOS) and Motion Photos (Android), enriching conversations with sound and movement.
Customization and Creativity
New chat themes have been added, allowing users to customize their chats using Meta AI for more creative options, although these features may not be available to all users. Additionally, new sticker packs, including Fearless Bird and Vacation, have been launched to add expressiveness to chats.
Improved Functionality
To simplify navigation, users can now easily search for group chat names by looking up contacts in the Chats tab, which will display common groups. For Android users, document scanning, cropping, and sending capabilities have been introduced, previously only available on iPhone.
Enhanced Video Calls
Meta AI also enhances video calls by allowing users to create unique backgrounds, which can be applied to photos and videos taken directly in chats.
