Llama 3.1 Impact Grants
Meta is seeking proposals that employ the new features and capabilities of Llama 3.1 for economically and socially impactful projects. Llama 3.1 supports multiple languages, including French, Hindi, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Thai, and rivals top AI models in general knowledge, reasoning, math, tool use, and multilingual translation.

Regional Events
Meta will host events worldwide to provide technical guidance and mentorship. Inaugural Llama Impact Grants
The inaugural Llama Impact Grants program supported innovative uses of Meta’s open source AI models, Llama 2 and Llama 3, to address global challenges. The program received over 800 applications from over 90 countries, with finalists and runners-up receiving mentorship and support. Projects ranged from AI-powered math teacher assistants to models closing the information gap in maternal healthcare.
