Meta AI is expanding its reach and introducing new features to assist users with answers, ideas, and inspiration. Now available in 22 countries, including Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Cameroon, Meta AI supports new languages such as French, German, Hindi, Hindi-Romanized Script, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, and Facebook.
Meta AI helps users accomplish tasks, generate creative ideas, and expand their knowledge. It is updated every two weeks based on user feedback to enhance the experience and introduce new features.
1. New Creative Tools
- "Imagine me" Prompts: This feature, currently in beta in the US, allows users to create personalized images based on a photo and a prompt, such as "Imagine me surfing."
- Creative Editing Capabilities: Users can add, remove, or change objects in images and fine-tune them with an upcoming "Edit with AI" button.
- Integration with Facebook: Users can create and share Meta AI-generated images directly within Facebook feed, stories, comments, and messages.
2. Advanced AI Model for Complex Queries
Meta AI now includes the advanced open-source model Llama 3.1, enhancing its ability to handle complex questions, particularly in math and coding. Users can receive step-by-step explanations for math problems, coding support, and expert instruction on technical concepts.
3. Meta AI on Meta Quest
Meta AI will be available on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and will roll out on Meta Quest in the US and Canada. It will replace current Voice Commands, allowing hands-free control, real-time information, and interaction with physical surroundings using Vision in Passthrough.
